Whether you are a sports coach, a scout leader, a librarian, an after school teacher, or a camp counselor, the kids you encounter will likely have enough energy to power the Death Star. We hope that their energy is thanks to a solid breakfast, a well-rounded lunch, and a warm dinner each day. Unfortunately, this ideal is rarely experienced by the kids we work with. While it is not our job as children’s programming professionals to keep track of our kids’ nutrition and overall health, we can still have a huge impact on their wellbeing simply by offering them new foods and modeling healthy behavior and physical activity.
At Watering the Beanstalk, you’ll be able to find recipes, yoga sequences, active games, wellness programs, self-esteem activities, and nutrition advice tailored to the pros who work with kids outside of school and home.
